Speaker: Dr. Kinlay Dorjee

Dr. Kinlay Dorjee’s career has focused on issues of policy and practical implementation in food security and agricultural development and accordingly, he is currently an Independent Senior Agriculture and Development Economist. He holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology. He has worked with the Ministry of Agriculture in Bhutan and also the Country Representative of World Wildlife Fund . He was also the Honorary Executive Director of the Royal Society for the Protection of Nature in Bhutan. In 2014, Dr. Kinlay Dorjee was appointed as the Country Representative of the UN Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) in Kyrgyz Republic.
